The treatment typically involves applying a topical anesthetic cream and/or local anesthetic to numb the area. The laser device then delivers targeted pulses to the skin and depending on the extent of treatment, it can take 30 minutes to an hour.

The downtime after Revive Fractional™ typically ranges from 7 to 10 days. During this time, the skin healing progresses through stages such as crusting and peeling. Although your skin will continue to build collagen over several months, it typically appears normal again by week 3. Patients often feel most comfortable resuming exercise at this point.
