Rhinoplasty

After Rhinoplasty, bruising may be present for 2-3 weeks. Swelling is a common occurrence and can persist for up to a year. However, visible improvements in the nose can be noticed soon after surgery, and patients can typically return to their normal activities within 3 weeks.

A boxy or bulbous nose refers to a tip of the nose that appears square or overly large due to the size and shape of the lower lateral cartilages. These cartilages can be reshaped, sutured, or augmented with grafts to create a more refined and aesthetically pleasing nasal tip.

Augmentation Rhinoplasty is a procedure to increase the height or profile of the nose when it is felt to be too flat or lacking in projection. This can be achieved by using grafts made up of your own tissue (autologous grafts), like septal, rib, or ear cartilage, or placing a silicone implant. Augmentation Rhinoplasty is commonly sought by individuals of Asian ancestry.

Liquid Rhinoplasty involves the use of dermal fillers to improve the shape and contour of the nose. This non-surgical approach is suitable for making subtle changes or as a preliminary step for those who are not yet ready for a surgical Rhinoplasty.
