Brow Lifts come in two broad categories: open and closed. With open brow lifts, incisions are made at or behind the hairline and are ideal for moderate to significant brow descent. Examples include trichophytic and coronal brow lifts. Closed brow lifts make use of 2-4 smaller incisions and can address mild to moderate brow descent. Examples include endoscopic, temporal, and gliding brow lifts.

While Blepharoplasty targets excess eyelid skin, a Brow Lift addresses brow descent. For some clients a combination of procedures is required for an optimal result.

The recovery time can vary depending on the type of Brow Lift that is recommended for your unique concern. Patients undergoing a Brow Lift can expect swelling and bruising that may last five to seven days and will resolve in four weeks. You will be able to resume back to your normal physical activities by week three and final results of the Brow Lift can take several months to a year.
