Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal targets the hair follicle at the root, and methods that remove the entire follicle such as waxing and plucking should be avoided. Please only shave between your treatments and one day before your procedure for the best results. We also advise to avoid sun exposure for 2-4 weeks (including sun beds and self-tan) before the treatment as your skin may grow more sensitive and reduce effectiveness to the laser.

To achieve optimal results, a series of 6 to 10 laser hair removal sessions is typically recommended. The exact number of sessions may vary depending on individual factors such as: genetics, hormones, hair type, color, and the area being treated.

Most patients experience mild discomfort and often describe it as a warm sensation and a slight snapping, like a rubber band on the skin. When combined with our Cooling devices, patients are able to experience laser hair removal comfortably.

There is no downtime after getting laser hair removal. Some patients may experience light erythema (redness) after their treatment and have the dead hair follicles start to shed.
